Global Clearing House , LCH.Clearnet Group, has appointed Ali Hackett to the newly created role of Global Head of Sales and Relationship Management, according to an LCH.Clearnet statement.
In her new role as the global head of sales and relationship management at LCH.Clearnet, Ms. Hackett will be tasked with augmenting the value, reach and scope of the Group’s existing customer relationships, as well as procuring new member and client business opportunities.
She will be reporting to LCH.Clearnet’s Group CEO, Suneel Bakhshi – her appointment will also see her added to LCH.Clearnet’s Executive Committee. In her role as the global head of sales she will be based out of New York.
Ms. Hacket joins LCH.Clearnet from Formation 8. Prior to this, she served in a number of senior level roles at CME Group as its Senior Managing Director and Global Client Development and Sales. Additional stops include two decades at Citi, where she worked as the Managing Director and Co-Head of Global Prime Finance.
According to Suneel Bakhshi, CEO of LCH.Clearnet Group, in a recent statement on the appointment, “LCH.Clearnet continues to play a critical role within global capital markets and our customer base reflects the international nature of our business. I am therefore delighted to welcome Ali Hackett to the Group.”
