Leverate has elevated Peter Leonidou to the role of Head of Sales in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, less than one year after joining the company as its Sales Manager, Finance Magnates has learned.

Back in May, Mr. Leonidou joined Leverate as its Senior Global Sales Manager, based out of Cyprus. He joined the Technology Provider from Saxo Bank, having served as its Senior Manager and Director for over two years. In addition to Saxo, he also held other positions in the FX industry at ForexTime, Alpari FS, Easy Forex , and TradeStation, part of a career dating back to 1997, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.

In his new role as the Head of Sales – EMEA, Mr. Leonidou will help head B2B sales across the EMEA region as well as in the United States. He will continue to be based out of Cyprus and steps into his new role with immediate effect.
The move is the first at Leverate since the appointment of Ben Richter last month, which saw him join the group as its Head of Institutional Sales. Mr. Richter landed at Leverate from FXCM Israel, after working as its Vice President of Sales and Operations for over a year.
