Lloyds Bank Fortifies US Financial Institutions Team With Two Exec Hires

Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, a subsidiary of Lloyds Banking Group Plc, has secured the services of executives Michael Zentz and Yomi Akinyemi to its U.S. financial institutions team.

Mr. Zentz and Mr. Akinyemi join Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking’s US team, where they will be based out of New York. In particular, Mr. Zentz will serve as Lloyds’ newest Senior Vice President, specializing in banking sector. Before joining Lloyds Bank, Mr. Zentz worked as a trader at CRT Capital Group as well as UBS Group AG.

Conversely, Mr. Akinyemi will also serve Lloyds Bank as its newest Vice President of the North American team, specializing in funds. Prior to the appointment, Mr. Akinyemi worked at the London office where he held a number of senior roles in funds, transaction Execution and industrials.

Back in February, veteran FX salesperson Richard Pullen relinquished his role at Citi to join Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking as its director in the global corporate FX division.
