Lloyds Bank Shakes Up Management with Trifecta of Appointments

Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, a subsidiary of Lloyds Banking Group Plc, has appointed Adrian White as its newest Chief Operating Officer (COO), according to a Reuters report.

In his new role as the COO of Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, Mr. White will be based out of London, where he will be reporting to Andrew Bester, Group Director of Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking. Mr. Bester himself was elevated to the role after previously working as the Managing Director and Head of SME banking for the group.

As a result, he will be succeeded by Gareth Oakley at Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, reporting to Tim Hinton, Managing Director, mid-markets and SME banking.

The moves and subsequent shuffle at the banking group represent a filling of needs and an attempt to fortify the top end of its operations in London.

Last month, Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking also made moves, securing the services of executives Michael Zentz and Yomi Akinyemi to its U.S. financial institutions team.
