MahiFX Appoints Alexander Ridgers to New Head of Analytics Role

MahiFX has appointed Alexander Ridgers to the newly created role of Head of Analytics , part of an expansion that comes amidst a growing client base, according to a MahiFX statement.

Mr. Ridgers originally began his career IG Index PLC, having served as its as a Quoting Dealer dating back to 2003. He also held a number of key executive roles, including Head of Trading - MarketIndex at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). Additional roles included the head of algorithmic trading at GKFX, and most recently a trader at OANDA.

According to David Cooney, CEO of MahiFX in a recent statement on the appointment, “One of the keys to a successful e-FX business is trade analysis and support. The technology is the tool we use, but its operation is absolutely key to maximising revenue for our clients."

"This requires specialised exercise of judgement about client tiering and tuning of the systems parameters. With our client base growing rapidly we needed to ensure this important function was carried out to the best of our ability to all our clients and we are confident Alex will help achieve this,” he added.
