oneZero, a provider of trading technologies, announced on Tuesday the appointment of financial industry veteran Marc Reider as the company’s Director of Hub Product Management.
In his new role, Reider will be responsible for building advanced execution and Risk Management capabilities of oneZero’s Hub technology, ensuring the needs of the technology provider’s institutional client base.
His appointment came at a time when oneZero is enhancing its Institutional Hub, which is its flagship product among several suites. The company is constantly enhancing its Liquidity pool and launched an algorithmic pricing module.
Commenting on his role at oneZero, Reider said: “Throughout my career, I’ve been focused on using technology to improve the way the financial industry trades FX. Now at oneZero, I’m thrilled to be a part of a team that’s developing cutting-edge solutions for the institutional market.”
A Financial Industry Expert
Reider is bringing more than two decades of financial industry experience to his new role. He joined oneZero from Refinitiv (previously known as Thomson Reuters). There, he spent 10 years and served mostly as a Development Manager of FXall, focusing particularly on the FX Options products.
He started his professional career in 1996 at Credit Suisse and spent over 15 years at the company. He parted from the Swiss investment bank in 2011 as a Director of foreign exchange IT. In addition, he went to the top of the pyramid academically and earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
“Marc’s background in product development for the institutional market is impressive. There is no doubt he will be a tremendous leader as we continue to bolster oneZero’s institutional offering,” said Andrew Ralich, oneZero’s Co-Founder and Chief Executive.
