Matt Komorowski Joins Volt as CRO

Open payments gateway, Volt announced today that the company has appointed Matt Komorowski, an industry veteran with over 15 years of experience in the corporate sector, as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

Volt termed the latest appointment an important step toward its growth strategy. The fintech company aims to enhance its presence in different regions to drive the adoption of open banking among merchants around the world.

Komorowski has joined the company from PayPal. He spent nearly 10 years at PayPal and served in different positions, including the role of Senior Director Partnerships (International Markets). Moreover, he played an instrumental role in PayPal’s growth across APAC, LATAM and MEA.

Global Expansion

Volt has increased its presence across the different regions during the past 12 months. In November 2021, the company launched its services in Brazil with a mission to accelerate the revolution of global open banking payments.

According to Matt Komorowski, there is huge potential for transformation in the payments sector. “My role will focus on driving adoption for our open banking products across markets and business verticals, and on building the right organization and hiring the best talent to start hyper scaling. Volt’s culture is centered around building an organization where sales and product development interact and exchange information very quickly, ensuring merchants are getting the products that they need,” he explained.
