Mette Skou Becomes Global Head of Business Partnering at Saxo Bank

Saxo Bank, one of the leading brokers in Europe, has promoted Mette Skou, an industry veteran with approximately two decades of experience in the corporate sector, to the position of Global Head of Business Partnering.

In her recent role, Skou was working as an HR Business Partner and Global Head of Employee Relations at Saxo Bank. In the mentioned role, she worked for more than eight years. In total, the newly appointed Global Head of Business Partnering worked for approximately 14 years at Saxo Bank.

She served in a wide range of roles at Saxo, including as HR Legal Manager. In her new position, Skou is planning to facilitate the company’s expansion.

“Happy and excited to take on the role as Global Head of Business Partnering at Saxo Bank. I am looking very much forward to continue working closely together with amazing and talented colleagues across all departments and geographies creating a true win-win,” Skou mentioned in a LinkedIn post on 8 August.

Key Promotions

In the past few months, Saxo Bank announced several promotions. Earlier this week, Ronni Bollerup Butler became the Head of Electronic Trading and Trading Services at Saxo. In June 2022, the Denmark-based financial trading platform promoted Gyula Szathmary to the position of Global Head of Digital Experience Platforms and CMS Strategy.

As far as Saxo Markets is concerned, the company announced the selection of Ken Shih, the former Director of Investment Content at UBS, as the Head of Wealth Management in Greater China in April 2022 to boost its presence in the region.
