Mizuho Americas announced that it has recruited Dominic Konstam as Managing Director and Head of Macro Strategy.
Finance Magnates recently learned in a press release that Dominic Konstam, an executive veteran with more than thirty years of experience in the fintech industry, has been selected by Mizuho Americas, a provider of a broad range of financial services, as its new Managing Director and Head of Macro Strategy.
Konstam brings more than three decades of financial experience to the position which covers areas that include portfolio management, global rates, foreign exchange , credit markets, and cross-market strategies. As Head of Macro Strategy, He will be part of the Interest Rate Products business. His role in the company is said to be a pivotal part of the organisations’ Fixed Income Division.
A Glimpse of Konstam’s Career
Prior to the announcement, Konstam served Citibank in the role of Co-Head of Rates Research.
Before this time at Citibank, Deutsche Bank recruited him as Global Head of Rates Research where he spent the next nine years.
His career originally began with Credit Suisse in October 1992. And, for the next eighteen years, he held the position of Managing Director and Head of Rates Research.
Further, he is known as a regular contributor in the financial press as well as a conference speaker. He is highly regarded and broadly cited for his insights into the industry.
