Monex Group Appoints Katsuki Mandai as Head of Sales of Monex Inc

Financial services company Monex Group has announced a series of personnel changes to its retail brokerage subsidiary, Monex, Inc., this Friday, which will take effect at the beginning of next year.

In particular, Katsuki Mandai, who is a managing director and the vice president, head of products division at Monex Inc, will be switching to a new position with the Japanese broker. Effective from the 1st of January 2020, Mandai will be the vice president head of sales division, instead of the head of products division. They retain their position as managing director.

Junya Matsuoka has also taken on a number of new roles. As of the beginning of next year, they will hold the following roles: Managing Director and Executive Director, Head of Customer Services Division, General Manager, Corporate Planning Department.

At present, Matsuoka is a managing director at the broker and also holds the position of executive director, head of sales division.

The final personnel change to be announced today concerns Terumitsu Kanai, who is currently a senior executive director and head of the product division. After the changes, Kanai will be the head of the customer services division, replacing the role of head of product division, the statement from the company said.

Monex Group reshuffles management

Today’s announcement follows on the heels of the Monex Group, announcing a number of high-profile moves for the Group. Namely, the financial services firm appointed a new chief operating officer (COO) and chief financial officer (CFO).

As Finance Magnates reported, Yuko Seimei was promoted to the role of COO. This role will be held alongside their other roles with the firm, which is Representative Director and President of the Group’s Japanese broker Monex, Inc.

Another big announcement to be made by the Tokyo-based financial services firm was the appointment of Toshihiko Katsuya as the CFO, taking on the role in addition to the existing position of Senior Executive with the Group.
