There have been a number of changes to the management of financial services company Monex Group, Inc., with the company announcing this Friday that it has a new Chief Operating Officer (COO), among other executive moves.
According to the statement published by the Group, effective from today, Yuko Seimei will hold the role of COO. This role will be held alongside their other roles with the firm, which is Representative Director and President of the Groupโs Japanese broker Monex, Inc.
Another big announcement to be made by the Tokyo-based financial services firm is the appointment of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with Toshihiko Katsuya taking on the role in addition to the existing position of Senior Executive with the Group.
Satoshi Hasuo steps down as CFO of Monex Group
Satoshi Hasuo, who was previously the CFO of the Monex Group, appears to have stepped down from the role and now only has one role with the company - Executive Officer. The firm has not provided any reasoning for the changes in positions.
Hisashi Tanaami will also be resigning from their positions of Executive Officer and Chief Administrative Officer with the Group effective from November 30, 2019. However, they will continue to serve as Managing Director and Vice Chairman of the retail broker.
There has also been a suite of changes with the Groupโs Directors. Namely, from December 1 this year, Masayuki Okamoto will no longer serve as an Executive Director, and will instead change to Executive Officer. They will also hold the role of Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel, the statement said.
Katsuki Mandai has also stepped down as an Executive Director with the Group, and will instead be an Executive Officer. Masaki Ueda, on the other hand, will switch from being an Executive Officer to an Executive Director, also effective from the 1st of next month.
