block.one Adds Former EOS New York Team
As Finance Magnates reported, block.one, the Cayman Islands-based Blockchain software publisher hired former EOS New York founders Rick Schlesinger, Kevin Rose, and their team.
The new hires join block.one to help the company engage with public blockchain communities, promote ideas to foster open, organized, and decentralized public network operation. Read more on the block.one appointments here.
Monex Inc. Secures Yasuyuki Kotera as an Executive Director
The Monex Group has announced a series of personnel changes to its retail brokerage Monex Inc this week. In addition to Kotera’s Director appointment, there are other changes to Monex Inc., including Kayoko Mori, who has joined as a General Manager for its Internal Audit Office, effective from the 1st of April, 2020.

Paul MacGregor Joins Perfect Channel
The former Head of Sales at LME, Paul MacGregor, took on a new role as Head of Sales and Marketing at London-based fintech company Perfect Channel. MacGregor’s career started at NYSE Euronext in 1994. He spent 18 years at the company, holding numerous roles, including Head of Fixed Income Derivatives.

Richard Hills Moves from SocGen to big xyt
As Finance Magnates covered this week, Richard Hills has taken up a new role as Head of Client Engagement at big xyt. Hills joins big xyt from Societe Generale, where he spent more than 18 years.
Hills will be responsible for promoting client awareness of big xyt’s products and services.

Stuart White Becomes UK and International CEO at HSBC GAM
HSBC Global Asset Management has appointed Stuart White as Global Head of Strategy and UK and International Chief Executive Officer. White replaces Andy Clark as UK CEO, who left the company to pursue other opportunities.

Barclays Appoints New Vice Chairman and New Head of Technology
Carrie Chen was appointed as Vice Chairman of Greater China Banking and Sung-Min Chung as Head of Technology in Banking for Asia Pacific at Barclays in Hong Kong.
Chen joins the bank with 15 years of experience in investment banking in China. She moves to Barclays from Morgan Stanley, where she was a Managing Director for Greater China coverage.
Chung joins the bank from iTutorGroup as Group Chief Financial Officer.

TP ICAP Director Lorraine Trainer to Step Down from Board
TP ICAP, an interdealer broker, announced this week that Lorraine Trainer, who is an Independent Non-executive Director, does not intend to seek re-election as a Director of the company at its next Annual General Meeting on the 13th of May, 2020.
Following this development, Angela Knight CBE, now intends to seek re-election as a Non-Executive Director at the AGM.

Tokeny Taps Damien Fontanille for European Expansion
The last of our executives on the move segment this week sees Tokeny Solutions, a provider of white-label platform, hiring Damien Fontanille as its new business development director. Fontanille will be responsible for expanding the company’s business in three key markets – France, Britain, and Italy – thus strengthening its position in Europe.
