Conroy replaces Liquidnet founder and outgoing CEO Seth Merrin, who faces a sexual harassment lawsuit in New York. Mary Corradino, former head of talent acquisition at Liquidnet, alleges she was fired after complaining of sexual harassment from Merrin and other high-ranking execs for many years.

JPMorgan Chase & Co Names Filippo Gori as APAC CEO

JPMorgan Chase & Co announced Filippo Gori as CEO for its Asia Pacific operations. Gori takes over the reins from Nicolas Aguzin, who is now leading the bank’s international private bank.

Gori has been with JPMorgan for two decades and will now be overseeing JPMorgan’s strategy and operations for the bank across 17 markets in the region

Wedbush Promotes Francis Paulino to MD of Investment Banking

With his new position announced on Wednesday, Paulino now heads the company’s mobile capital formation business, which is focused on at-the-market offerings and stock repurchase programs.

Paulino joined the company in December of 2016 as the Senior VP of Investment Banking.

ADSS Onboards Aaron Brown to eFX & CFDs Institutional Sales

Abu Dhabi-headquartered international brokerage ADSS has appointed Aaron Brown as a senior executive at the eFX & CFDs institutional sales desk. Prior to landing at the middle-east focused broker, Brown spent five months as vice president of institutional sales of eFX & CFDs at CFH Clearing Limited.

Eurex Clearing, part of the Deutsche Börse Group, has expanded its buy-side sales team with the appointment of Nick Barnes as the Senior Vice President for Sales and Relationship Management.

Barnes will report to Jonathan Lombardo, Head of Fixed Income Derivatives Funding & Financing Sales, Northern Europe.
