Nomura Singapore Limited announced on Tuesday that it has secured the services of Gan Chee Yen as a Non-Executive Director.
Finance Magnates recently learned in an official press release that Chee Yen, a financial executive veteran with more than three decades of experience, has been appointed by Nomura Singapore Limited, the Singapore division of the Japanese financial services giant, as its new Non-Executive Director.
Chee Yen brings in-depth experience in accounting, finance and investment management to the role. Moreover, this along with his managerial and supervisory experience will be a great addition to decision-making and governance in Singapore.
Prior to the announcement, Chee Yen served Fullerton Financial Holdings as its Chief Executive Officer. He successfully accomplished his charges between 2011 and 2019. Earlier to Fullerton, at Temasek, a unit of Singapore's global investment company, he worked in various positions from 2003. These roles consisted of Senior Managing Director, Co-Chief Investment Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Head of China.
Additionally, Chee Yen holds a position on different Singapore-based company boards. These consist of Heliconia Capital Management, Surbana Jurong, and Pacific International Lines.
