payabl., a European payments solution provider, has hired Theodoros Hadjistyllis as its Cyprus Country Manager. Based in Limassol, he has already joined the payments company.

“I’m excited to announce that I’m starting a new position as Cyprus Country Manager at payabl,” Hadjistyllis wrote in a Linkedin post.

He is a financial industry expert with a decade of experience with several big names.

Before joining payabl, he worked with RCB Bank for more than four years. He joined the Cypriot bank in May 2018 as the Onboarding & Controlling Manager for Acquiring & Digital Payment Services and parted recently as its Deputy Head of Merchant Acquiring & Digital Payment Services.

He spent a significant part of his professional career working for Deloitte, one of the big four audit firms. He joined the company in October 2011 and climbed the corporate ladder over the years to part as the Assistant Manager of Risk Advisory in May 2018, thus spending almost seven years there.

payabl. was founded in 2011 and is licensed by the Central Bank of Cyprus. The company is a payment technology expert empowering merchants to take, make and manage payments globally, with a full solution stack including card acquiring, alternative payment methods, payment accounts and prepaid cards.

Additionally, the company strengthened its leadership by hiring Eleonora Christofidou earlier this year. She joined as the Group Chief Financial Officer “to support [the company’s] regional expansion and complement [its] growing team.”

Before joining payabl., she was with Unlimint for more than five years in senior roles and parted as the Group Chief Financial Officer. Furthermore, she worked for RCB Bank for over seven years in several key roles.
