Paysafe Names Bruce Lowthers as the New Chief Executive

Paysafe (NYSE: PSFE) announced the appointment of Bruce Lowthers as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director on Thursday.

He will replace Philip McHugh and take on the new leadership role on 1 May 2022. Additionally, the announcement came shortly after Paysafe onboarded Daniel Henson as Non-Executive Chairman.

Banking Circle Names Nick Tubb as Global Head of FX

Banking Circle has recently announced the addition of Nick Tubb, the former European Sales Director at AFEX Ltd, to its team as the company’s Global Head of Foreign Exchange (FX).

Through the appointment of Tubb, the bank is planning to enhance its FX strategy. In Tubb’s career of more than twenty years, he has worked with some of the world’s leading companies. He joined Banking Circle from the digital commerce management team at Worldline (formerly Ingenico / Global Collect).

UK FCA Appoints Three New Directors

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK announced that it has appointed three senior directors in various departments on Tuesday. According to the press release, the watchdog selected two new Directors of Authorizations as it has successfully filled 95 new authorization roles. In addition, a new Finance Director has been chosen.

Laura Dawes will fill one of the roles as a new Director of Authorization. Currently, Dawes is the FCA’s interim Director of Strategy, Policy, International and Intelligence. Additionally, Dominic Cashman will serve as Co-Director of Authorization. Further, Craig Chapman will join the watchdog as the Finance Director.

All three of the new directors will begin their new roles at the end of April and early May.

Henrik Andersen Joins Saxo Bank as a New Member of the Board of Directors

Henrik Andersen has been onboarded by Saxo Bank to join its Board of Directors. At a meeting held on 4 April 2022, Saxo Bank's shareholders welcomed Henrik Andersen as a member of the Board of Directors.

The newly elected Board member Henrik Andersen said: “Saxo Bank has been on a remarkable journey over the past years. It is a true entrepreneurial success story that has evolved into an international leader within trading and investing – still with massive potential as more people start to invest across the world.

"I am both humbled and excited to have been elected to the Board of Directors and become an active part of the bank’s growth journey in the years ahead.”

AMF Promotes Jessica Reyes to Director of the Asset Management Regulation Division

Autorité des Marchés Financiers announced that it appointed Jessica Reyes as its new Director of the Asset Management Regulation Division.

Reyes began her career in London in 2004 as an analyst at State Street Bank & Trust, then worked at Schroders Investment Managers valuing funds.

Charles Debonneuil Becomes New Revolut APAC General Manager

Revolut announced that it appointed Charles Debonneuil as APAC General Manager.

Debonneuil will focus on developing Revolut’s local Growth teams and enhancing the business’ growth strategy, driving rapid new user acquisition in the APAC region.

Earlier, Debonneuil was the President of Intrepid Group overseeing the growth of the company with more than three hundred employees in Asia prior to joining Revolut.

XTX Markets Strengthens Leadership with Dr Hans Buehler as Deputy CEO

XTX Markets announced hiring Dr Hans Buehler as the company’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer.

The appointment came as Zar Amrolia, the Co-CEO at XTX, intends to retire from all of his executive duties in early 2023. The company is optimistic that Dr Buehler will strengthen its senior leadership.
