GO Markets Hires New Head of Risk & Product Development

“It’s exciting to work at a company with a supportive culture,” Spanos said. “GO Markets has big plans for the future, with some notable key hires recently. I look forward to helping the company on that journey. It’s a great place to be, surrounded by lots of very talented people.”

GO Markets was established in 2006, offering counterparty trading services to individuals and wholesale clients. The broker operates globally with licenses in Australia, Cyprus, UAE, Mauritius, and Seychelles. In addition, the brand sponsors Chelsea FC, one of the top football clubs in the English Premier League (EPL).

Moreover, the group behind GO Markets launched a new brokerage brand called Radex Markets in late 2021. It operates globally under GO Markets’ securities dealer in Seychelles.

An Experienced Brokerage Executive

Spanos brings around 15 years of brokerage industry experience to his new role as the Melbourne-headquartered retail broker. As mentioned, Spanos was most recently with Pepperstone, another Australia-headquartered broker that he joined in September 2018, according to his Linkedin profile.

He started his career in August 2007 at IG, one of the largest FX/CFDs brands globally, and worked there for eight long years, separating as a Senior Quoting Dealer and Market Maker. Later, he joined the Sydney offices of CMC Markets as a Volatility Risk Manager, a role he held for three years.

“It’s great to have Peter on board,” said Khim Khor, the Director at GO Markets. “He has a wealth of experience and fits well into the culture at GO Markets. We are very optimistic about what the future holds.”
