IS Prime’s freshly launched Hong Kong office has made a new senior hire, on-boarding Sue Cheung as its newest Vice President Sales, North Asia, following the group’s latest expansion into the region

Last month, IS Prime expanded its operations into Hong Kong, culminating in the opening of an IS Prime Hong Kong Ltd office. The new office is based in the Sheung Wan commercial district and is expected to be fully operational by the end of the month. The expansion of IS Prime into Hong Kong represented an important stroke for the group as it looks to extend its global footprint into one of the fastest growing markets.

In her new role Ms. Cheung will be tasked with IS Prime Hong Kong’s business development and client base. She will be reporting to the recently hired Will Robbins, IS Prime Hong Kong’s Head of Asia.

She joins IS Prime from CFH Systems, having worked as its Vice President of Asia – additional stops also include a position as an FX Institutional Sales Manager at Leverate in Hong Kong.

According to Raj Sitlani, Managing Partner, IS Prime, in a statement on the hire: “We are delighted that Sue has joined IS Prime Hong Kong. She has a wealth of experience in business development in North Asia, a proven track record in driving million dollar growth and a wide network of contacts in the financial sector and Forex market.”

“Sue has an in-depth understanding of client requirements in the region and I believe that, with Will at the helm and Sue focusing on sales, we have the ideal skillset to build a presence and drive growth in the region,” he added.

“This is a great opportunity for me to play a key role in helping to grow the business from the outset. This role was of particular interest to me because of IS Prime’s reputation in the industry. With its strong background and unique service offering in the market place, I believe we have a compelling offering for the region,” explained Ms. Cheung.
