Almax Analytics , a software platform delivering actionable insights and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, has secured Ralf Roth to the group’s advisory board. His appointment is tendered with immediate effect, according to a company statement.
In his new role Mr. Roth will be supporting Almax Analytics out of New York, having worked in the banking and software development field for over two decades.
Veteran Appointment
Prior to joining Almax Analytics, he worked as the Managing Director and Global Head of Elektron at Thomson Reuters. In this capacity he was responsible for business operations including product management and software development of all financial data services.
Additional roles also include stints as the Managing Director and Global Head of Equity Product Development at Deutsche Bank, having focused on the fixed income, prime brokerage, and Equities space, dating back to 1994, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.
According to Mr. Roth in a recent statement on the appointment: “I am proud to be part of the Almax team as their approach of applying Natural Language Processing and Deep Machine Learning to news data is unique and makes an existing dataset more relevant as a trading signal."
