RBC Capital Markets Appoints Matt Fennessy as Director of FX Sales

RBC Capital Markets has landed longtime financial services veteran, Matt Fennessy, who joins the group as its Director of FX Sales.

Mr. Fennessy joins RBC Capital Markets from Citi, having worked there for over a decade. He has held a number of senior level roles during his time with the lender, including Associate Vice President, Vice President, and most recently Director.

Having worked previously across Citi’s operations in Sydney and Dublin, Mr. Fennessy will now be based out of London in his new role as Director of FX Sales at RBC Capital Markets. He will be tasked with fostering more cohesion between the group’s global venues, where he will be reporting to Alex Price, Head of Corporate FX sales, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), according to a recent FX Week statement.
