ROSTRO Financials Group Has Selected John Williams as Chief Information Officer, effective from March 2022.
Finance Magnates recently learned from the LinkedIn profile of John Williams, a senior executive with more than twenty years of experience, who has been chosen by ROSTRO Financials Group, a fintech group focused on capital markets and digital assets, to be its new Chief Information Officer.
Reviewing Williams Career
Before Williams was appointed to this position, Equiti Capital benefitted from his skills and experience for more than five years. He fulfilled the post of Global Head of Information & Technology / Data Protection Officer. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day IT infrastructure, trading technologies, application and desktop support operations.
Prior to Equiti Capital, he served Naked Communications as Head of IT Europe for a short stint. Part of his duties required ensuring that the company had access to the correct technology resources and services so that the business could meet its business objectives. The company promoted him was his previous role as IT Manager of Europe where he served for more than three years.
Additionally, he took on the role of Head of IT as The Leading Edge in December 2013. For a further three years, amongst his other duties, he supported the company as a Sister company to Naked Communications.
In Mar 2008, Williams joined the ranks of Loveurope as an IT Administrator. After more than four years, she received a promotion to IT Manager.
Earlier in January 2008, he became a DETAPO Officer Cadet at the University of London Officer Training Corps, which he completed simultaneously with his other roles.
He also served in the British Army as a Gunner from 2005 to 2008 in the 106 Regiment Royal Artillery.
His earliest known position was with Adzone / DDB recruited Williams as a Senior Artworker and Systems Administrator. For almost seven years, he created artwork for Print and Digital media for clients, including Volkswagen, Phillips, & TagHeuer marketing campaigns.
