ROSTRO Selects Owen Purssell as Head of Distribution

In a recent LinkedIn post, Owen Purssell, the former eFX Risk Solution Analyst at GKFX, confirmed that he has joined ROSTRO, a leading financial technology company focused on capital markets and digital assets, as the company's Head of Distribution.

Purssell is an industry veteran with more than 15 years of experience in the financial services sector. In his broad career, he worked with some of the most prominent FX firms. In addition to GKFX, he worked with Valbury Capital. With BP Prime, he worked as the Operations Manager.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Distribution at ROSTRO Group,” Purssell said in a post on LinkedIn. In his new role, he will facilitate ROSTRO’s growth.

In the past few months, ROSTRO has expanded its operations significantly to meet the growing demand for a broad range of financial trading products. Earlier this year, the company announced the acquisition of Scope Markets, a popular FX and CFD trading brand, in an effort to grow its presence.

Executive Moves

Since the start of 2022, ROSTRO has boosted its team substantially to support its growth targets. Recently, Samantha Allan joined ROSTRO as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant. In March 2022, the company announced the selection of John Williams as the Chief Information Officer. Earlier this year, ROSTRO confirmed the appointment of John Murphy as the company’s Global Head of Retail Operations.

Through recent appointments, ROSTRO is aiming to enhance its international reach across different regions around the world.
