Multi-regulated FX broker ROYAL has secured the services of former LCG’s middle east executive Rasha Gad, who joined the Sydney-based company in the role of its manager of institutional sales. The move to hire Rasha is clearly intended to boost bottom line sales and expand the reach of the newly-launched operations.
ROYAL is a trade name of Royal Financials, which is authorized by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC ) and the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC). The company is also regulated by the Central Bank of Lebanon and the financial markets supervisory authority of Lebanon, the Capital Markets Authority.
Gad will be responsible for contributing to ROYAL’s overall business development strategy and will play a key role in delivering the company’s institutional solutions to a broader audience. Her experience and contacts in the sector will also allow her to help develop the company's Liquidity and white label products.
Gad joins Royal Financials from London Capital Group, having worked for more than two years at the FCA-regulated firm in several roles, focusing on its middle east business. In particular, her tenure has seen her work in Cyprus, most recently assuming the role of the group’s head of MENA business development.
Experience in FX sales dates back to IronFX
As Finance Magnates reported exclusively, LCG Cyprus is set to promote Eliza Eliadou, the firm’s current Chief Compliance Officer, to take on the role of its new Chief Executive Officer. Eliadou will be replacing Panayiotis Annivas, who assumed the role of CEO in October, and in turn, replaced Andreas Kontos following his departure from LCG’s Cypriot subsidiary in October.
Prior to joining the LCG team, Rasha was the head of the Middle East desk at once CySEC-regulated ACFX, a brand name of Eastern European FX and CFDs brokerage firm Atlas Capital.
Additionally, she was head of partnerships at AJF Financial Services, part of a decade-long career in the FX industry. Her experience in FX sales extends further back, from her time at IronFX Global where he worked as an account manager for nearly two years.
