Finance Magnates can confirm that Saad Sidat has left brokerage firm Scope Markets to form his own company. Called BrokerSolutions, the firm will provide marketing and software solutions to brokerage firms.
Sidat will start working for BrokerSolutions having left Scope Markets last year. He stayed with the Belize-regulated broker for twelve months, having left the company in August of 2017 after joining in August of the prior year. Based in the firm’s Dubai office, Sidat worked as a business development manager.
Sidat started his career in the FX industry with the Pakistani broker, BIPL Securities. Working as a senior officer on the commodities desk, he only spent five months with the Karachi-based broker before jetting off to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Living it up in Dubai
The move to the Middle East was a result of Sidat’s career change. Having worked on the commodities desk with BIPL, he switched to a career in product management with ACM Gold and Forex Trading. Sidat worked for the South African firm for almost four years, finishing his time there as Head of Product Management.
In February 2015, Sidat changed roles again, this time moving to CMS Financial. He spent just over a year in CMS’s Dubai office, working as a product manager for the UAE-regulated firm, before moving on to Scope Markets.
Sidat’s new firm, BrokerSolutions, looks as though it is already taking off. The company’s website claims that they have helped set up 15 brokerage firms, an impressive number, if true, given that the firm has been operational for less than a year.
