Tradeweb Markets, one of the leading global operators of electronic marketplaces for rates, credit, Equities and money markets, recently announced the selection of Sara Furber, former Chief Operating Officer, Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley, as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
In an official announcement, Tradeweb mentioned that the newly appointed CFO will report to Lee Olesky, Chief Executive Officer of Tradeweb Markets. The operator is planning to utilize the extensive experience of Furber for its business expansion.
Furber has more than 20 years of experience in the global financial sector. In her previous role, she worked as Chief Financial Officer at IEX Group. Prior to joining IEX, Furber spent nearly 4 years at Morgan Stanely as Chief Operating Officer, Wealth Management.
“Ms Furber previously served as Chief Operating Officer for Global Corporate and Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, after leading Investor Relations for Merrill Lynch during the global financial crisis and through its Merger with Bank of America. She began her career in investment banking in 1997. She has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University,” Tradeweb mentioned in the announcement.
The newly selected CFO will succeed Robert Warshaw, who will leave the company following a period of transition.

In the recent announcement, the CEO of Tradeweb mentioned that the company is planning to enter its new phase of growth and development amid a surge in demand for financial products.
