Lasse Lilholt, former Head of PR Nordic and Deputy Head of Global Communications at Saxo Bank, has been promoted to Global Head of Communications at the trading services provider. According to his LinkedIn profile, Lilholt has been working in the firm for over six years in the Communications department.

“It’s now almost exactly six years since I joined this amazing company with its unique vision, passion and culture. Every day I’m feeling quite fortunate to be working with so many super bright and inspiring colleagues. Especially in our global Comms team where we drive corporate and internal communications, public affairs and PR across our offices and markets,” the new Saxo Bank’s Global Head of Communications commented.

He started in the company as PR and Communications Manager in July 2018, where he held such a role for over a year and a half. Afterwards, he was promoted to Head of Internal Communications and then Head of PR for the Nordic Region in Saxo Bank. Prior to his job with the trading services provider, Lilholt worked as Communication Consultant at Copenhagen-based Geelmuyden.Kiese A/S. Additionally, he completed a tenure of two years at Saxo Bank as PR and Public Affairs Coordinator before joining the Danish firm.

Also, from 2013 to 2015, Lilholt was employed at Jyske Bank as an Assistant Analyst. According to his educational background, Saxo Bank’s new Global Head of Communications holds a degree in Law from Aarhus University.

A few weeks ago, Saxo Bank announced it had appointed Damian Hitchen, a former Regional Manager at HSBC, as its new CEO of the MENA region. The newly appointed CEO will report directly to the company’s Chief Sales Officer, Stig Christensen. Hitchen will be based at Saxo Bank’s regional office in Dubai. He will facilitate Saxo Bank’s growth in the region.
