Saxo Bank Taps Ex-Barclays Banker Eric Krueger as Head of Client Services

Saxo Bank is fortifying its client relationships infrastructure, addressing the segments with a new senior hire. Former banking veteran Eric Krueger will be joining the Danish bank and broker in a newly created role as Global Head of Client Services – his appointment will be tendered on July 2, 2018.

Prior to Saxo, he served in a number of executive positions, part of a career spanning over two decades.‎ Eric, who has worked in the industry since 1998, will be tasked with leading Saxo Bank’s global client services organization, reporting to Damian Bunce, the broker’s newly appointed chief client officer.

Mr. Krueger had been a mainstay at Barclays Capital since 2009 when he originally joined the British lender. In his most recent role, he was Managing Director, Head of Cash Execution Sales for the EMEA region, responsible for developing bespoke policies for the bank’s clients with specific focus on program trading, electronic trading, and sales trading.

Prior to Barclays, Krueger spent eleven years at Merrill Lynch in various leadership positions focusing on cash execution sales. Per his LinkedIn profile, Eric’s directorship had been relinquished with Merrill Lynch in August 2009.
