The UK subsidiary of Saxo Bank A/S, Saxo Markets UK Ltd., announced this Thursday that it has appointed Charlie White-Thomson as its new non-executive Chairman of its Board of Directors.

Bringing more than two decades of experience in financial services, White-Thomson has served as a non-executive director on the Board of Directors of Saxo Markets UK since 2019.
With the appointment of White-Thomson, he is replacing Anthony Belchambers, who had served as Chairman since 2015, who appears to have left the company to pursue other endeavors.
During his career in the financial space, which commenced in 1995 according to his LinkedIn profile, White-Thomson has held numerous senior management positions. For the majority of his career, he worked at Credit Suisse, where he was a Managing Director and, most recently, the Head of Cash Equity sales to Europe and Europe to the United States, his profile states.

Over the past two decades, White-Thomson has been a Board Member of BOGD BANK, a challenger bank in Mongolia, and co-founded The Lost Corner, a family-owned and independent interior design business based in Barnes, London, his LinkedIn states.
