Finance Magnates has recently learned that Pavel Spirin has been promoted by Scope Markets to Chief Executive Officer, effective from January 2023.
On his LinkedIn profile, it mentions that in his new role, he is the Group B2C (retail) division lead. Additionally, he posted the following comment to share his success with his peers. “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Executive Officer at Scope Markets!”
A Look Back at Spirin’s Employment
Before the announcement, Spirin served Scope Markets as its Chief Growth Officer from August 2021. Over a period of 18 months, he focused on global marketing and retail business development.
Prior to Scope Markets, the new CEO consecutively fulfilled a couple of positions at Skilling. Initially, he joined as the Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer and was based in Marbella, Spain. From September 2018 to June 2020, he concentrated on marketing and product functions ownership, planning and management. After almost two years, he was promoted to Chief Commercial Officer.
Earlier on, Spirin held onto the role of Head of Digital Marketing at Betway Group for three and a half years. Here, he navigated the rapidly expanding team of 40+ individuals in the Digital Department and drove all digital projects and initiatives at Win Technologies / Betway Group.
Additionally, at CMC Markets, he was the Global Head of Acquisition / Global Acquisition Manager for a short stint of only three months. During his stay, he led all customer acquisition marketing channels, projects and activities globally.
Moreover, Alpari recruited Spirin also as the Global Head of Acquisition / Global Acquisition Manager. For around 17 months, he put his efforts towards customer acquisitions, web analytics, on-site CRO activities and global projects.
On top of that, he spent just under a year as the Head of Marketing at Wish Want Wear. He led the marketing strategy for the fashion start-up company.
At an earlier time, Spirin took on the challenge as Head of Online Marketing at Sigma Response Services Limited.
In January 2010, he became the PPC Manager at Betfair. For two years, he zeroed in on strategic leadership across search marketing. He also led the growth, development and strategic direction of its in-house team, among many other duties.
Furthermore, he completed a few more short stints, at PHD Media Ltd as a Search Planner, at Seven Blue Pieces as its Co-Founder, at Blue Barracuda as its Search Team Leader, at Mobile Solution OU as its owner / Founder and finally his first form of work as the owner / Founder of CRC RPG Club.
