SGX Group Promotes Michael Toffolo to Head of CurrencyNode EMEA and Americas

Finance Magnates has learned that Michael Toffolo has been promoted to Head of CurrencyNode EMEA and Americas at SGX Group. He previously worked as a Senior Account Manager for nearly two years in the firm.

According to his LinkedIn profile, prior to joining SGX Group, he was employed by Cobalt as a Sales and Business Development Manager between 2019 and 2020. Moreover, he had an extensive tenure of over four years at CME Group in London, working as an FX Sales and Account Manager and also as an FX Liquidity Manager.

Before working for CME Group, he was involved in a role within the eFX Client Services team at Mako Global. “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of CurrencyNode EMEA & Americas at SGX Group,” he commented via LinkedIn.

Toffolo’s educational background includes earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with Management from the Royal Holloway, University of London. In addition, he holds an ACI Dealing Course issued in May 2015.

Recent Executive Move at Scope Markets

Daniel Mackenzie Clark was recently promoted to the position of Head of Partnerships for Scope Markets, which has already taken effect.. Formerly, he was a member of the broker’s institutional sales team.

Clark has extensive experience in the financial services industry. Aside from forex and equities, he is skilled in trading systems and financial markets. In fact, during his decade-long career, he worked with several other brokerages. After six months as an institutional sales team member at Capital Index, he joined Scope Markets.

Before that, he was with GKFX, the retail brokerage operated by Global Kapital Group. There, he spent four years in roles around derivatives sales, e-FX trade operations and institutional sales. In addition, he worked at Prime Wealth Group and Halo Financial.
