The move constitutes LCGβs latest appointment in Q4 with Mr. Hooks joining the groupβs London office β he joins LCG from Over-the-Counter (OTC) solutions provider NetOTC, having worked in a similar role as its Legal Counsel. In this capacity he oversaw a legal team, helping advise management on organization and specialist derivatives work.
Prior to this role, he also worked at Deutsche Bank as a Secondee Legal Counsel. Additional roles also include stints as a Associate, Derivatives and Structured Finance at Allen & Overy, among other positions with the group, dating back to 2009, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.
The man he was tasked to replace, Mr. Parish, officially parted ways with LCG earlier this month, according to a regulatory filing.
