Smart Communications Secures Jon Stratford as CFO

Smart Communications, a provider of communications management software, has appointed Jon Stratford as its newest Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with immediate effect, according to a company statement.

In his new role Mr. Stratford will be tasked with leading the financial and operational functions of the group, also helping drive and foster the company’s overall growth strategy and business, whilst based out of London.

He steps into his new role with over two decades of experience across the financial services and business operations space, including his most recent stop at Xchanging plc. In this capacity he worked for over a decade in several senior roles at the venue including as its Executive Board Director, CFO, and Chief Commercial Officer.

Additional stops also included thirteen years at KPMG, having worked for a decade in its Private Equity Corporate Finance Group as its Director. According to George Wright, CEO of Smart Communications, in a statement on the appointment: “Jon brings to Smart Communications a portfolio of global and strategic experience that’s especially relevant to our business today and into the future.”
