SmartStream Shuffles Executive Committee, Names Haytham Kaddoura as CEO

SmartStream Technologies, a transaction Lifecycle Management (TLM) specialist, has undergone a key management shakeup, elevating Haytham Kaddoura to the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), following a successful stint on its Board of Directors, according to a SmartStream statement.

Per the new structuring, Mr. Kaddoura will be working with SmartStream’s Philippe Chambadal, who is slated to assume the role of president – in this capacity he will focus on SmartStream’s Reference Data Utility (RDU) as well as upcoming acquisitions for the group.

For Mr. Kaddoura, the promotion to CEO follows on the heels of his tenure on SmartStream’s Board of Directors of its RDU. Alternatively, the move to president by Mr. Chambadal snaps a seven year stint as its CEO, having held the role since 2009.

According to Mr. Kaddoura in a recent statement on the promotion: “I am incredibly proud of all that has been accomplished at SmartStream over the last several years and look forward to working with Philippe, the executive team and our world-class partners to continue positioning SmartStream at the forefront of the industry.”

“With the unparalleled growth we are experiencing in areas such as managed services and ICD’s dedication to the expansion of the Company, I look forward to working with Haytham to bring SmartStream to the next level,” reiterated Mr. Chambadal in an accompanying statement.

SmartStream made headlines last week after it launched its SmartLabs innovation center, as well as its TLM SmartRecs OnDemand solution, helping promote its disruptive technological agenda.
