Societe Generale has announced the appointment of Brigitte Richard-Hidden as Global Head of Cross Asset Research with immediate effect. Brigitte has replaced Patrick Legland who spent more than 8 years in this role.

In her new capacity, Brigitte will continue to strengthen the global research products on all underlying instruments, reinforcing the bank’s strong commitment to provide its clients with professional researches on all asset classes.
The Cross-Asset Research approach offers in-depth analysis of the impact of major events on different asset classes, assessment of the links between asset classes, and strategic synthesis of this key information to provide an integrated view.
Richard-Hidden brings more than 30 years’ experience in corporate and investment banking and a robust track record in equity advisory and transactions of equity capital markets.
Brigitte has been a mainstay at Societe Generale since 1996 and her promotion comes after a lengthy stint at the leading French bank. She initially worked at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking (SGCIB) where she served in many roles including Co-head of Equity Capital Markets in France, managing a team of senior originators, and a Team Leader on high profile Equity Capital Market transactions (IPO, equity raising, equity linked) for large corporates with CEO / CFO level relationships.
Most recently, she served as a Senior Banker where she was tasked with managing global relationships for a portfolio of strategic clients in France, mainly Insurance Companies. In addition, she worked in close partnership with all business lines within the bank, mainly in Corporate and Investment Banking, to provide global solutions for strategic advice, financing and Risk Management .
Richard-Hidden will be based out of Paris where she will report to Frank Drouet, head of global markets.
