In the wake of diminishing revenues, Standard Chartered has appointed Priyen Shah as its newest Director, FX Options Trading, in a bid to help shakeup the bank’s moribund FX metrics this year.

Late last month, Standard Chartered also named Paul Denslow as its newest FX Head of Sales in the US. Furthermore, the company’s CEO Peter Sands has been under siege from investors for diminishing revenues, part of an industry-wide trend seen in H1.

In his newest role at Standard Chartered, Mr. Shah will help manage FX Options trading and bolster the unit in Singapore, where he will be stationed. Mr. Shah joins Standard Chartered from Barclays, where he also served as Director and FX Exotic Options Trader in Singapore since 2003.
