American financial services provider, State Street has picked Brenda Tsai, an industry veteran with more than two decades of experience in marketing, as the company’s new Global Chief Marketing Officer.
Tsai joins State Street from DXC Technology where she worked as the Chief Marketing and Communication Officer for more than one year. In her new position, Tsai will accelerate State Street’s marketing and branding activities. She will lead the company’s global marketing team.
In her broad professional career of approximately 27 years, Tsai worked with some of the biggest companies in the world, including giants like BNY Mellon, GE and FactSet. With GE, Tsai worked as the Global Commercial Leader. Later on, the newly appointed Global CMO at State Street served as the Global Head of Marketing at FactSet for almost three years.

Executive Moves at State Street
In March 2022, State Street announced the selection of Jesse Cole as the company’s Global Head of Private Markets. Last year, the financial giant picked country heads for three European markets.
In her new role, Tsai will report to Julia McCarthy, the Executive Vice President and Global Head of Client Experience at State Street. “We remain focused on putting exceptional client experience at the center of our strategy. As an award-winning global marketing executive known for applying business and operational rigor to creative brand and digital strategies, Brenda’s decades of experience in brand building and B2B marketing is an ideal fit as she takes the helm of our global marketing organization,” McCarthy commented.
