StoneX Taps IG’s Elyes SAAFI to Head Marketing Partnerships
Elyes SAAFI

Elyes SAAFI, who until recently served as a marketing partnership lead at IG, is leaving the UK spread better to join GAIN Capital, which is now part of StoneX Group Inc., as their new Global Head of marketing partnerships.

Elyes brings 8 years of experience in financial services to the role where he has worked on large-scale marketing programs. Additionally, he has strong experience and knowledge of the Forex market operations and has held various positions at a few brokerage houses.

In his new role, SAAFI is responsible for StoneX’s global marketing partnerships to help expand the scale of the company’s promotional alliances.

Depending on the broker’s partnership model, Affiliates and introducing brokers either make money from a spread rebate deal or cost per acquisition (CPA). Moreover, other brokers offer a hybrid model through which both payment models are used.

During his stint at IG, SAAFI led the group’s efforts to work with and target a much broader audience of marketing partners. This included providing access to a wide range of marketing tools and a full bevvy of resources at disposal of those interested in promoting IG’s offering.

StoneX Continues to Consolidate Business

Prior to that, SAAFI spent more than three years at ETX Capital, a London-based financial spread-betting and contracts-for-difference provider. There, he developed ETX Capital's partnership program within the UK and internationally, having worked to help their affiliates and marketing partners grow acquisition in different markets.

SAAFI joins StoneX at a time when the US-based financial group is pressing ahead with plans to consolidate its businesses under a single umbrella. Last week, it finalized yet another phase in integrating the companies that had been operating under the Gain Capital brand.

Gain’s introducing futures broker, Daniels Trading has unveiled its newest logo that integrates the StoneX brand to create visual recognition that the company is now part of the US-listed organization.

Earlier this month, Gain Capital Japan changed its name to StoneX Financial Co Ltd. The move came shortly after GAIN Capital UK was successfully migrated into StoneX Financial Ltd.
