Sucden Financial Limited has bolstered its London personnel with the establishment of a newly forged Multi-Product Execution Team, including the addition of Rick Brunton, Graham Bevan, and Lee Deavall, according to a Sucden Financial statement.
The new Multi-Product Execution Team will be headed by Rick Brunton, who joins Sucden Financial from Jefferies Bache, where he served as its Senior Vice President of Futures and Options Sales. In this capacity, Mr. Brunton cut his teeth in the realm of futures and options sales, along with execution and fixed income. Additional roles also include senior positions at Cargill Investor Services, Mitsubishi Trust International, Credit Lyonnais, BZW, and Lehman Bros.
In addition to Mr. Brunton, Sucden Financial has also secured the addition of two former Jefferies Bache employees in Graham Bevan and Lee Deavall. Mr. Bevan worked in Bache Commodities for nearly a decade, as well as a further three at Jefferies Bache within the Options Sales and Execution Team. Before these aforementioned roles, he has also previously worked at Banca Intesa SPA and Credit Lyonnais Rouse.
By extension, Mr. Deavall joins Sucden Financial’s new unit after a lengthy tenure at Bache Commodities (15 years), coupled with three years at Jefferies Bache. He brings a distinctive speciality in the realms of interest rate, equity, foreign Exchange (FX) and commodity markets, and will be instrumental to the new team’s focus.
According to Marc Bailey, Managing Director at Sucden Financial in a recent statement on the accretion of the new team: “Having previously worked with Rick, Graham and Lee, I saw an opportunity to use their knowledge and expertise at Sucden Financial to create a new business area providing multi-product execution services for hedge funds, banks and real money asset managers. The team helps further grow and diversify the firm’s offering and strengthens our position in the market.”
“We are delighted to be working with Marc Bailey again and to join Sucden Financial, which has a strong and established reputation in the market. Utilising the firm’s trusted infrastructure, we will draw on our experience and knowledge of the market, together with our long standing relationships to assist clients in building and executing trading strategies,” added Rick Brunton, Head of the Multi Product Execution Team in an accompanying statement.
The personnel moves are the first to be announced at Sucden Financial this year, with its most recent additions coming at the end of October 2015, when the group revealed a number of changes to its senior management team, including the creation of two new roles as well as a promotion in its compliance team.
