Bent brings with him over 17 years in the financial markets both in Australia and the UK, and will be focusing on expanding Synergy FX's market presence both locally and across the globe. His experience and track record in the derivatives market has covered roles in operations, client services, Risk Management and sales relationship building.

I have known Daniel for a number of years and believe he is one of the best talents in the FX industry.

Prior to his new role, Bent was Head of Forex at FPMarkets (First Prudential Markets) from August 2015 to October 2016. Before that he was Head of Operations & Trading Systems at MXT Global and has also held roles as Head of Operations both at Vantage FX and AxiCorp Financial Services.

With the global expansion strategy that Synergy FX is currently implementing, the latest appointment will further solidify the company’s presence as a global forex market participant.

Christian Dove, Managing Director of Synergy FX, commented: "Synergy FX is developing quickly into other global markets and the appointment of Daniel, together with his solid track record, will help to ensure we are aligned to continue to support that growth."

Bent added: "I am delighted to be joining Christian and the team at Synergy FX and am excited to support the strengthening of our presence in existing markets, and bolster the development and growth of the business into new markets. The launch of Synergy FX's new office in Shanghai, China, and growth throughout Asia, represents the initial execution of our global expansion strategy.”
