Andrew Gibson Lands at Tavira Securities as FX and CFDs Product Head
Andrew Gibson, an FX veteran who departed as Alfa Capital Markets’ Head of Institutional Sales earlier in the week, has been onboarded by the Dubai-based forex and contracts for differences (CFDs) broker, Tavira Securities as its Head of Product Development.
Tavira Securities is authorized and regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and is allowed to provide investment services. In addition, it holds another license from the United Kingdom’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Exness Names Artem Seledtsov as Chief Business Development Officer
Exness has promoted Artem Seledtsov as its new Chief Business Development Officer, according to an update on his Linkedin profile.
Exness informed Finance Magnates that in the new role, he will be responsible for identifying business growth opportunities, along with the design and implementation of business and marketing growth strategies. Further, he will oversee Exness’ brand building and with local partners for penetration into new markets.

Revolut Names Glauber Mota as Brazil CEO Ahead of Country Launch
Revolut, with headquarters in London, is preparing for its launch in Latin America’s largest market with the latest appointment of Glauber Mota as the Brazil Chief Executive Officer.
Announced earlier in the week, Mota joined Felipe Lachowski who was onboarded by Revolut last April as Brazil’s Head of Strategy and Operations.

Liquidnet Taps James Rubinstein to Enhance EQS Offerings in US, Americas
Liquidnet has hired James Rubinstein as Head of Execution and Quantitative Services (EQS) for the Americas.
Rubinstein brings over two decades of experience to the role. He will be in charge of setting the strategic direction and leading the effort for Liquidnet’s EQS offerings in the US and the Americas.

TopFX Welcomes Back Rachelle Matta as Global Head of Retention
TopFx welcomes Rachelle Matta back to the firm as she returns as the Global Head of Retention. Before leaving TopFX in December 2017, Matta had spent one year and three months with the prime broker as its Business Development Manager.
The announcement came a few weeks after the broker onboarded Muhammad Asim as its Head of Global Sales.
While away from TopFX, Matta spent four years and three months tracking anti-money laundering compliance for the Bank of Beirut and the Arab Countries (BBAC), a Lebanese commercial bank.

Capex.com Strengthens MENA Team, Hires Fadi Reyad as Market Analyst
Capex.com announced the appointment of Fadi Reyad as a Market Analyst for the company’s Middle East and North America (MENA) region on Tuesday.
Reyad has already been onboarded by the broker and is based in Abu Dhabi, reporting directly to the CMO for MENA, Abdelhadi Laab.

Guillermo Bodnar Becomes the New Celsius Chief Technical Officer
Celsius announced that it appointed Guillermo Bodnar as its new CTO. According to the press release, Bodnar previously worked as Chief Solutions Officer at Globant.
The new Chief Solutions Officer will be based in San Francisco and report to Alex Mashinsky, the CEO of Celsius. Prior to his experience at Globant, Bodnar served as CIO of Arbinet, where he built the largest computer-based telecommunications exchange and trading platform. Moreover, he assisted to shape the compliance platform required for the company’s IPO.
