TP ICAP Selects Mark Govoni as CEO of Agency Execution Division

Recently, TP ICAP confirmed the appointment of Mark Govoni, the former Managing Director at Nomura Securities International, as its new Chief Executive Officer of its Agency Execution Division.

In his new position, Govoni will accelerate the expansion of TP ICAP’s Agency Execution Division. Govoni is replacing John Ruskin, who was noted by TP ICAP as playing a vital role in the integration of Liquidnet into the TP ICAP Group.

To enable a smooth transition, Ruskin will be with the Group until the end of June. Govoni has extensive experience in the financial services industry. He joins TP ICAP from Instinet where he was employed for around 10 years.

Worldline Nominates New Group Chief Financial Officer

Worldline announced that it has nominated Gregory Lambertie as its new Group Chief Financial Officer. Lambertie succeeds Eric Heurtaux who has decided to exit from the company.

The newly nominated Chief Financial Officer will take up his duties on 16 May 2022. Worldline noted that Heurtaux has strengthened the payments giant’s finance function over the past 6 years. The details shared by Worldline mentioned that the handover between Heurtaux and Lambertie has already been prepared and will extend until Heurtaux’s departure.

Lambertie has been a part of Worldline’s executive committee since the finalization of the acquisition of Ingenico in November 2020.

Amana Capital Onboards Joy Dabeet as New Chief Marketing Officer

Earlier this week, Amana Capital announced the appointment of Joy Dabeet as the broker’s new Chief Marketing Officer. This is one of many leadership role hires the trading platform has filled over the recent months.

Dabeet is an experienced marketer with more than 15 years of experience in advertising and marketing.

At Amana, she will lead Amana Capital’s marketing, communications, product innovation, advertising and brand digital marketing initiatives.

Francis La Salla Becomes DTCC’s President and CEO

On Monday, the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) announced that it has appointed Francis La Salla, currently the Chief Executive Officer of BNY Mellon’s Issuer Services business, to its Board of Directors as President and CEO.

As mentioned in the press release, the appointment will be effective from August 12. In addition, Michael C. Bodson plans to retire as CEO of DTCC. On top of serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Depository Trust Company (DTC), Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC), and National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC), La Salla will be added to the DTCC Board of Directors. Moreover, DTCC’s Management Committee welcomes him.

INFINOX Strengthens Institutional Sales Team by Hiring Aaron Brown

INFINOX announced its appointment of Aaron Brown as the broker’s Head of Institutional Sales for the MENA region. He will focus on supporting the growth of the liquidity provider division, IXO Prime, globally and in the MENA region.

“I’m very honoured to be joining the INFINOX and IXO Prime teams. Having worked in the industry for a number of years, I’ve watched INFINOX’s rapid growth and been really impressed by the presence they’ve created during that period,” Brown said in a statement.

BUX announced the appointment of Dan Zbijowski, the former Head of Marketing at MyBuilder, as the company’s new Chief Marketing Officer, on Monday.

Zbijowski brings more than 15 years of experience in developing in-house multidisciplinary teams of fast-growing startups with successful exits. He joins BUX from Delivery Hero where he served as the Vice President of International Marketing to drive Delivery Hero’s growth.

Three Executives Join Nasdaq US Exchanges Board of Directors

Nasdaq, Inc. (Nasdaq: NDAQ) announced that it has appointed three executives to the Board of Directors of the Nasdaq Stock Market LLC, Nasdaq PHLX LLC, Nasdaq BX, Inc., Nasdaq ISE, LLC, Nasdaq MRX, LLC and Nasdaq GEMX, LLC.

According to the press release, the appointed people included Kathlyn Card Beckles, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary, Verisk Analytics, Inc.; Anne Marie Darling, Partner of Global Markets Division at Goldman Sachs; Elizabeth Wideman, the SVP and Senior Deputy General Counsel at Comcast Corporation.
