Financial technology trading solutions provider, TradAir, has recruited a new sales representative for the Asian markets last month - Haresh Chandiramani, Finance Magnates has learned.
The move was made public via Chandiramani’s LinkedIn profile, which states he joined the firm in June of this year. In his new position, Chandiramani is based in Singapore and will cover the ASEAN region.
TradAir specializes in creating technology solutions for both the buy and sell-side of the foreign exchange (Forex ) and cryptocurrency sectors. At the company, Chandiramani will focus on Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam, his LinkedIn states.

Before he was at TradAir, Chandiramani spent 17 years at Bloomberg LP. Based in Singapore, his most recent role was Cross-Asset Electronic Trading eCommerce Sales S.E.A. up until he left the firm in November of 2018.

According to Chandiramani’s LinkedIn, while at Bloomberg, he pioneered the company’s flagship FX trading portal FXGO in 2006 across both Southeast and South Asia. During his time with the firm, he managed to build up an extensive network of FX contacts, ranging from central banks, asset managers and GLCs across the region.
Chandiramani began his career in 1990 working in Singapore for the Republic National Bank of New York. During his more than 10-year stint with the bank, he was the Vice President of the Interest Rate Forward Desk.
In this role, he was responsible for the Asian and G7 Forwards. He also actively managed the USD and SGD books, handled the local money market book and developed and marketed other Asian Forwards and NDFs, such as IDR, THB, WON and TWD to Global and Interbank customers.
In his own words, during his time with Republic National Bank of New York, he became: “Known in the market for being a professional and competent trader of interest rates and foreign exchange products (FX Forwards, NDFs, spot, money markets, cross currency and interest rate Swaps ),” his LinkedIn states.
