Last week saw many personnel shifts in the financial industry.

Patrick Storey

Multi-asset brokerage ActivTrades secured the services of industry veteran Patrick Storey as a non-executive director, with immediate effect.

“His vast knowledge and experience of the financial industry will help to further develop the company and achieve ambitious corporate objectives,” noted an ActivTrades spokesperson.

Brent Diehl

Brent Diehl was appointed Senior Vice President of International Expansion at payment provider Monaco. Diehl has served on Monaco’s advisory board since 2016.

Kris Marszalek, co-founder and CEO, said: “Brent’s wealth of industry experience and knowledge makes him a key hire as we continue to expand into new markets and bring cryptocurrency to every wallet.”

Nir Elbaz

Nir Elbaz will take on the role of CEO of OSYSFX, the Trading Platform of technology provider O-SYSTEMS.

He will be based in Cyprus and will focus on developing relationships with new clients and partners.

Daniel Lawrance

Destek Markets UK secured Daniel Lawrance as its newest Institutional Sales Director.

Mr. Lawrance commented exclusively to Finance Magnates: “This is a great opportunity for me to join a very experienced management team within the FX industry.”

Matt Chow

ADS Securities promoted Matt Chow to Head of Business Development for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

ADS Securities Head of Asia Francis Lee commented: “Over that last five years Matt has helped grow and build ADS Securities’ regional offer and he has contributed to the overall success of the Asian business.”

Ivan Mihov

Ivan Mihov was appointed Sales Director of AxeTrading, a provider of fixed income trading technology.

Mr. Mihov will step into his new role with immediate effect. Based in London, he will be focused on the company’s global Buy-Side initiatives.

James Reilly, Beverley Doherty, Stephen Dispenza

State Street saw three big moves last week.

It appointed James Reilly as Global Head of Currenex. He will be tasked with expanding the business and creating new partnerships.

Beverley Doherty was brought in as Global Head of FX Connect. Prior to this position, she worked as the COO and North American head for GlobalLink, State Street’s suite of e-trading platforms, technology, data and workflow solutions.

Finally, Stephen Dispenza was promoted to the role of Global Head of Sales for Currenex. Mr. Dispenza has held several senior level roles at State Street – most recently, the position of North American Head of Sales.
