Iskandar Najjar, ADS Securities
ADS Securities lost a key member of its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) team, with its managing director Iskandar Najjar revealing his intent to part ways with the group. Mr. Najjar originally joined ADS Securities in July 2014, having formally served as Alpari’s CEO. During his tenure at ADS Securities, Mr. Najjar has helped lead its MENA Sales team, delivering significant year-on-year growth as well as strengthening its institutional offering – he will be formally parting ways with the group in September.
Eugene Timko, Michele Tucci, and Alexander Ivanov, Finstar
Finstar Financial Group, a private investment group and portfolio manager, has seen three new senior appointments, namely the recruitment of Eugene Timko, Michele Tucci, and Alexander Ivanov. Each of the new roles begins with immediate effect, helping solidify Finstar’s investment strategy in 2016.

Credit Suisse last Tuesday bolstered its Chinese operations with three senior appointments to its investment banking and capital markets (IBCM) team in China – Li Ping, Summer Xia, and Ma Jie are all coming over to the lender in new roles.
John Kim, Fiserv
Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV) augmented its board of directors with the appointment of John Kim, who steps into an advisory role with the group. Mr. Kim currently serves as the President of New York Life Insurance Company, one of the largest mutual life insurance companies in the US. In tandem with this role, he also works as its Chief Investment Officer (CIO), with additional positions in the past at Prudential Retirement, as well as CEO stints at Aeltus Investment Management and Bondbook.
Vincent Folliot, Citigroup
Citigroup reorganized its equity solutions team dealing with the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), appointing former Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) executive Vincent Folliot as its co-head last week. Joining him in this role will be Alessandro Amicucci, who will serve as co-head of the unit as well. In their new roles at Citigroup, Mr. Folliot and Mr. Amicucci will be based out of Citigroup’s London branch, where they will be reporting to Tim Gately, the lender’s Head of European equities, and Stephen Roti, Global Head of Corporate Equity Derivatives.

Jason Bray, INTL FCStone
INTL FCStone Inc.'s subsidiary, INTL FCStone Pte Ltd. appointed Jason Bray last week to lead its dairy practice in the Asia-Pacific region. Bray’s appointment was the latest example of INTL FCStone Inc.’s ongoing commitment to building out its service infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region. The dairy trade in this region has grown exponentially, based on the volume of dairy products moving through the New Zealand Exchange (NZX).

Werner Steinmueller, Deutsche Bank
Last Thursday, Deutsche Bank brought in Werner Steinmueller to help steer its business in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, one of the lender’s highest growth regions. As per the new appointment, he will serve as the group’s CEO for the region with immediate effect. In his new role as the CEO of Deutsche Bank’s APAC unit, Mr. Steinmueller will be based out of Hong Kong – he will also have the distinction of being the first of Deutsche Bank’s board members to serve out of Asia.
Dan Hanson, Citigroup
Citigroup has a key vacancy to fill in its London-based emerging markets (EM) unit after Dan Hanson parted ways with the lender. Mr. Hanson vacated his role as Citigroup’s EM trader at the foreign exchange (FX) desk in London. He joined Citigroup back in 2014 from Standard Chartered, having focused the bulk of his career on FX options. While at Citigroup, he garnered a focus in the EM space, while maintaining a proficiency in G-10 currencies.
Gerard Melia, GAIN Capital
GAIN Capital appointed Gerard Melia as Head of Relationship Management for the online multi-asset brokerage. Mr. Melia is based in London and joined the firm this month after a series of senior roles for UK-based FX brokers over the years. Prior to joining GAIN Capital in his new role, Mr. Melia was a project manager at Synops – a UK firm that provides currency Risk Management solutions.
