Anna Becker, Financial Commission
The Financial Commission (FinaCom) announced the appointment of Anna Becker to its Dispute Resolution Committee (DRC). Becker joins the FinaCom DRC with over two decades of senior leadership experience across the retail brokerage space and other finance organizations. This includes an emphasis on innovative technologies such as big data systems, behavioral systems, and advanced retail trading.
Saul Proctor, Santander
Santander Corporate & Commercial last week made a new senior appointment, tapping Saul Proctor as the newest Director of its Financial Sponsors team. Mr. Proctor will be based out of the UK, focusing on the origination and Execution of leveraged finance opportunities in the domestic market.

AxiomSL on-boarded Andrew Wood as the group’s newest Country Manager for Australia, following its growth in the region. In this capacity Mr. Wood will be based out of AxiomSL’s Sydney office, which follows the company’s expansion in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, in tandem with a burgeoning client base in Australia.
Chris Monnery, Fidessa
Fidessa Group appointed Chris Monnery as its newest US Head of Product Marketing for Electronic Execution. The appointment of Mr. Monnery is the company’s latest hire in its Sell-Side business. In his new role he will be based out of New York where he will report to David Polen, Fidessa’s Global Head of Electronic Execution.

The National Futures Association (NFA) last week re-elected a key member of its board, with Michael C. Dawley, Managing Director, Goldman Sachs & Co., slated to serve another one-year term as chairman. In addition, per the latest round of board votes, the group also re-elected Maureen C. Downs, President of Rosenthal Collins Group LLC, to serve as Vice-Chairman.

Will Robbins, IS Prime
IS Prime’s freshly launched Hong Kong office has made its inaugural senior appointment, with Will Robbins being established as its Head of Asia with immediate effect. The appointment constitutes Mr. Robbins’ first senior level role in the region. He will be helping staff and leading the new office.
Daniel Skowronski, OANDA Europe
OANDA Europe Limited shook up its ranks after choosing to part ways with its acting head and Managing Director of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Daniel Skowronski. Mr. Skowronski originally joined OANDA Europe back in 2014, having worked in one of its lead roles out of London for nearly three years.
Layth Sanjaq, Apexum
Apexum last week underwent a change in its senior leadership, with Chief Executive Officer Layth Sanjaq having resigned from his role. Prior to joining Apexum last year, he was the founder of FXBuilders. In addition, he also held senior level roles at Orbex as its Global Head of Operations for over four years.
