Michael McClain, DTCC

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has hired Michael McClain as its newest Managing Director and General Manager of Equity Clearing. In his new role Mr. McClain will be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day equity clearing business operations and strategic initiatives. In this capacity he will be reporting to Murray Pozmanter, Managing Director and Head of Clearing Agency Services.

Natalie Gammon, Misys

Misys tapped Natalie Gammon as its newest Chief Information Officer (CIO) with immediate effect last Wednesday. In her new role Ms. Gammon will be based out of London. She will help oversee the group’s global infrastructure and technology operations, which include a full array of business applications and support services, in tandem with the company’s data centers and overall information security.

Enno Runne, Baymarkets

Baymarkets Technology AB unveiled multiple appointments focusing on its recently launched solution, Clarity. As such, Enno Runne was promoted to Lead Developer for the Clarity platform while Håvard Skaret and Martin Grotle Soukup will join the group as Senior Software Engineers – Lily Xu also lands at Baymarkets as a Software Engineer.

SIX Swiss Exchange made a new appointment to its board of directors, selecting Sabir Sheikh to spearhead its issuer Regulation , along with Jared Bibler who will handle trading oversight at the group. The Management Committee of SIX Exchange Regulation under Corinne Riguzzi will be fully staffed following the appointments.

Tan Cheng Han, SGX

Singapore Exchange (SGX) unveiled a new independent regulatory subsidiary last week, tapped SGX RegCo, which will focus on enhancing the governance of SGX as a self-regulatory organization – the group also appointed Tan Cheng Han as its Chairman, which is targeting a launch for Q3 2017. SGX RegCo was formed with the aim of making a more explicit distinction between the segregation of SGX RegCo’s regulatory functions and SGX’s commercial and operating activities.

Xceptor on-boarded Marco Sablone as Director of Sales & Business Development for North America last week, reporting directly to Andrew Kouloumbrides, the group’s CEO – his mandate will include an emphasis on client relationships as well as the development and growth of the group’s business in North America.

London Capital Group (LCG) secured the services of Emilio Lobo as its newest Head of Business Development. Mr. Lobo steps into his new role as the Head of Business Development with immediate effect – he will be based out of London. He comes over to London Capital Group from IronFX, having worked previously in its Spain Representative Office for nearly three years.
