Tribal Capital Markets, a minority broker-dealer, announced on Wednesday that it has hired Ian C. Burdette as a Senior Managing Director and Head of Trading and Risk. According to the statement, the addition of Burdette enhances the broker’s scope across the full spectrum of fixed income products.
Burdette joins Tribal Capital from Mizuho Securities USA. Here he worked for seven years and was the Head of Agency Trading in their fixed income group. Throughout his career, he has held notable positions such as Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Vice President of Goldman Sachs.
Starting his career in the finance industry in 1992, Burdette brings over twenty years of experience to the Tribal Capital team. During this time, his career has had a focus in the Agency and Supra/Sovereign debt markets.
