Terence Oh, UBS’ Global Co-Head of FX Prime Brokerage (PB) has reportedly parted way with the lender, paving the way for two new internal promotions, with Ryan Connolly and Daniel Bader assuming Oh’s former role, according to an FX Week report.
Mr. Oh had worked as UBS’ Global Co-Head of FX PB since September 2012 – his departure has necessitated that the bank fill the void however, which has culminated in the promotion of both Mr. Connolly and Mr. Bader. Mr. Oh had been a mainstay at both UBS Investment Bank and UBS AG since 2000, having held several senior level roles.
These included Associate Director, Director, Executive and Managing Director, as well as his most recent appointment. He had worked out of Singapore and New York City during his sixteen-year tenure with the lender.
In his place, Mr. Connolly and Mr. Bader move into their new roles – more specifically, Connolly will also absorb the responsibilities of FX PB Sales. Mr. Connolly has worked at UBS since 1999, mostly as its Executive Director – FX Prime Brokerage and Clearing Sales.
By extension, Mr. Bader’s promotion comes on the heels of a lengthy stint with UBS, having worked there in various capacities since 1999. He has specialized in FX, working out of UBS Warburg, as well as UBS AG, whilst serving as the Executive and Vice President, as well as most recently he served as the group’s Managing Director of FX Prime Services and Global Head Product Development.
