Ms. Rust joins UBS after a lengthy career spanning over twenty-five years that's seen her work in such areas as business management, internet consultancy, as well as other roles focusing on digitalization. In her new role Ms. Rust will be based out of Hong Kong, reporting to Alice Page, the bank’s Chief of Staff in the country.

In this capacity she will be emphasizing client engagement as a key focus, helping secure UBS’ global footprint in Asia. The lender’s Asian business has been a bright spot over H1, having already helped boost revenues in what has been a rocky string of financial quarters for the banking industry, namely back in Europe.
