Victor Zachariades Left Pepperstone, Joins Crypto Firm Alpaca

Victor Zachariades has stepped down from his role as Head of Pepperstone’s Cyprus unit to join Alpaca as the General Manager of Cyprus. He took over the new role earlier this month, according to his Linkedin profile.

Founded in 2015, Alpaca is a stock and crypto platform focusing on building application program interfaces (APIs). The company is headquartered in California and is backed by Y Combinator, Horizon Ventures, Spark Capital and a few other venture capital firms.

Zachariades has more than 15 years of experience working in the financial industry and has been a part of many top brands.

He joined Pepperstone in August 2019 as a Director to head the broker’s Cypriot operations.
